Beautiful vintage Westmoreland Wedding Milk Glass Pedestal Square Compote Candy Dish with Lid
Gorgeous dish from the Westmoreland Company in the Wedding Milk glass design. Very heavy and striking in person. This would look absolutely stunning in a collection of your favorite milk glass or on its own.
Stands at 9.5” tall with the lid and at 7” tall without the lid. The bowl measures 5” square across and is 2.5” deep.
The lid has a clean chip right out of the corner but no additional cracking and it does not appear to interfere with the integrity of stability of the piece. I think the scalloping of the lid camouflages the damage and it can easily be hidden in display. Lids are fairly rare in these pieces as they tended to get broken or separated from the base. I have included close ups of the chip along with closeups of what it looks like with the lid on so you can be the judge for yourself. I have reflected the damage in my pricing of this beautiful piece.
