This jumper plug will screw onto the end of your yellow tank full cord and allow you to use your recovery machine if you are not using a recovery tank with the float.
If your recovery unit has a tank full cord and it is yellow and has 3-pins, then this jumper plug will work for you.
Many techs leave it connected to the cord.
Remember, never fill your recovery tanks to more then 80% of its capacity.
You can put 24 lbs. of refrigerant in a 30 lb. tank.
And you can put 40 lbs. of refrigerant in a 50 lb. tank.
The United States Department Of Transportation (D.O.T.)  requires that refrigerant recovery tanks contain no more than 80% on their total capacity.
So 30# tanks can contain no more than 24 lbs. and 50 lb. tanks can contain no more than 40 lbs.
This is the jumper plug that "screws-into" the top of the yellow tank full cord.
99% of refrigerant recovery units that use the yellow tank full cord , use the 3-pin connection style.
