Description
This is a Lynyrd Skynyrd historical lot commemorating the last show before the plane crash at the Greenville Memorial Auditorium in Greenville South Carolina on October 19th, 1977. The lot contains a piece of structural wood ( 10" X 4" ) that was excavated from the site following the 1997 controlled explosive demolition of the building. Michael Finnie was a local resident and Skynyrd fan who entered the site in the early 2000's after a fence was erected, and rescued some structural wood and a brick from the site. He also attended the 10-19-77 show as his ticket stub is pictured on the top of the certificate. Mr. Finnie has written the Information along the top of the board, a local artist has painted Ronnie Van Zant's image and Artimus Pyle has signed and dated the piece. It comes with a signed COA from Michael Finnie, a signed copy of the original seating chart ( 14" X 10" ) by Artimus Pyle, a signed Set List from the 10-19-77 show by Artimus and Artimus's " A Thumbnail Sketch Of Tragedy " letter of Arties recollection of the plane crash also signed personally for me by Artimus. All signatures were signed in front of me with photo proof. NOTE: The winning bidder can copy photos as I do NOT send out any photos. FREE shipping to the winning bidder.
