Offered is an original UK promo poster for The Jimi Hendrix Experience Electric Ladyland album release.  This UK promo poster was issued to retail stores before the album cover art was changed to the profile of Jimi's face.  Electric Ladyland was Jimi's third studio album.  The double LP Electric Ladayland was released by Track Records in the UK in October 1968.  Track Records hired photographer David Montgomery who shot photos of nineteen nude women lounging in front of a black background. The cover was banned by several record dealers because of the nudity, while others sold it with the gatefold cover turned inside out, or in a brown wrapper. This poster is absolutely original and in very good condition with some handling and a corner cease otherwise fantastic.  The poster measures 13 3/4" x 27 3/4".  It will be shipped wrapped and protected.
