    Description

Here's a beautiful vase which was made by the Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio.  I believe the pressed pattern is called 'Loganberry', and I've seen the color referred to variously as 'ice blue' or 'electric blue'; in any event, it's sort of a bright metallic blue, with a good tinge of iridescence to it.  I beleive this dates from approximately the mid-1970's (but don't know a great deal about Imperial, so any expert advice on that point is welcome).
The vase is about 10" tall at the top of the ruffled edge, and it's maybe close to 6" wide across the body.  The base or foot is about 3-3/16" in diameter, and is stamped with the Imperial mark on the underside (tried to get a picture, but it's kind of hard to see unless you're looking at the right angle).  It's in great shape, with no nicks, chips, fleabites, or other damage.  Pretty vase, amazing color, it's in nice shape, I've got way too much of this sort of thing lying around (and can't stop myself from constantly buying more), so this needs a new home.
