This superb bolo is by acclaimed Hopi artists Gary and Elsie Yoyokie. The Yoyokies are award winners at the Santa Fe Indian Market and other major shows, whose work is prized by collectors everywhere and is increasingly hard to find. This is a large bolo: the length from the end of the tips to the top of the folded 8-ply hand–made cord is 27 inches. The image on the bolo depicts a Hopi Koshare, corn stalk and a sun face. These images, in high relief, are in a sterling silver bolo that is 3¾ inches wide and 3 inches high. The silver sleeves on the cord, reflective of Yoyokie work, are each 2¾ inches long. Silver hand-made tips complete this unique bolo, made for a private collector in the early 2000s
