  • Condition: excellent condition (never played with, only stored away) mini version of one of the most successful launch vehicles ever built, the U.S. Delta rocket. It's made of plastic, and is just under under 3 inches tall. This rocket is the model 3920 Delta, which was used in the early to mid 1980's. This Delta has the unique ring of 9 solid rocket boosters (6 light at launch, 3 ignite in the air), a Thor 1st stage, Delta 2nd stage, with an optional 3rd stage called the PAM (payload assist module). As seen in the photos, on one side the Delta rocket logo is featured. This rocket was used to launch both civilian and military payloads, and this same rocket is used today in the updated form of the Delta II. This mini model was a NASA collectible, part of the Space Explorers collectible series. The Delta is one of my all time favorite rockets, and this one was part of my collection of space vehicles that I am now parting with over time. I have 2 of them available and you can get one

    NASA Mini DELTA Rocket, Model 3920 Launch Vehicle, A Great Small Space Collectable!
    This is an excellent condition (never played with, only stored away) mini version of one of the most successful launch vehicles ever built, the U.S. Delta rocket. It's made of plastic, and is just under under 3 inches tall. This rocket is the model 3920 Delta, which was used in the early to mid 1980's.
