.  This Original Hendrix  British promo poster with nude Brit chicks was issued to record stores before the album cover art was changed to the profile of Jimi's face.  Electric Ladyland was Jimi's third studio album. Double LP Electric Ladyland was released by Track Records in the UK in October 1968, and they hired photographer David Montgomery who shot photos of nineteen nude women lounging in front of a black background. The cover was banned by several record dealers because of the nudity, while others sold it with the gatefold cover turned inside out, or in a plain brown wrapper.   The poster  is on thick stock and  measures 13 3/4" x 27 3/4".
