Description:
3M respirator system protects against a number of particulates. This mask when used with separate 3M filters (sold separately), can be used to protect against particulate exposure.
Filters must be purchased separately. Technical support recommended 3M part numbers 2071, 2091, 2096, 2097, 2291, 2296, 2297, and 7093. You can also purchase the 6000 series combination cartridges, but they include protection to vapors that are beyond what is needed for organic particles.
Filters should be rated as N95 or P100. P100 is a higher standard than N95. P100 is 99.7% effective in protection for particles 0.3 microns and larger. N95 is the minimum for protection. N95 is 95% effective for particles 0.3 microns and larger.
